Disable AVG self protection: Right click the AVG icon in the taskbar (near the clock). Select to Temporarily Disable AVG Protection. If that would be possible(or fixed in browsers?) you could indeed just set the overscroll behavior on the modal and backdrop and all would be great and performant.
